I remember the day that I started to believe that God actually loved me. The day I learned it was more than a phrase or a bumper sticker. The day I really believed that what God thought about me was indeed more important than anything else. I spend my life trying to live into this knowledge, trying to understand the implications of being God’s beloved child. Knowing that you are deeply loved heals and enables you to live well in what can be an unloving world. Knowing that you are beloved by God allows you to love others and see reality for what it is.
